Hiring Process

1.  Simply fill out an application online. Once we receive your complete application, a placement consultant will contact you to discuss your options, the minimum requirements and to schedule an interview, in person or by telephone.

2.  Initiate preliminary screening process. At this time we ask you to submit two forms of Identification, a copy of your social security card, CPR and First Aid certification, and work authorization (if applicable), and a Dear Family Letter.

3. Once the application has been reviewed and accepted by the president of The OC Domestic Agency, you may begin interviewing families whose employment offer matches your criteria. Clients who are interested in meeting you will contact you directly. They will interview you over the phone before inviting you to their homes to meet the children.

4.  When the family offers you employment and you are in agreement, we will initiate a background check; a contract will be drafted between you and the family, specifying the job description, expectations, responsibilities and compensation package. Upon successful completion of the background check, you may begin your employment.
